| The origin
In 1903 Miss Edith Aitkin established the Old Girls’ Association and called a group of girls
together and told them “how, through them the past, the present and the future of the school
could be welded together into a timeless entity by forming an association”.
Now, 103 years later more than 2000 Old Girls worldwide are still wedging a timeless entity – The
PHSG Old Girls’ Association.
At present six branches are active in kindling the spirit of the Association and a further three are
in the process of being established:
New branches will include:
- Nationally
- Mpumalanga (Lowveld), Limpopo and Eastern Cape
