Athletics

Athletics is a third Term sport at Pretoria High School for Girls.

We participate in the Johannesburg Co Ed Schools league.  In 2008 we participated in the C League with Highlands North Boys.

In the Second part of our season we participate in the Johannesburg Private Schools league. In this League we also came second to St Mary's and the girls did us proud.

Athletics meetings are usually on a Wednesday, they start at 14:30 and end at 17:30, the girls are usually back at school by 19:30. The Captain for 2009 is Margaret Olwoch and Vice Christine Roos. We are looking forward to participating in the league this year and growing from strength to strength.
