The Sepedi Department is a strong and supportive department with two hardworking and dedicated educators. As educators we are committed and available to help the learners whenever necessary. We meet often to share ideas on how to make our lessons more interesting to the learners.

In Grade 8 the learners are introduced to different African foods. We teach them to be appreciative and value themselves and others. Learners are always encouraged to communicate in Sepedi with each other. In addition, they are encouraged to read Sepedi storybooks, listen to Sepedi radio stations, and also watch Sepedi TV programmes. We take our Sepedi girls to the Lesedi cultural village to introduce them to the various tribes and explore each tribe's lifestyle and unique history. General discussions are also done on a regular basis within the classroom.
