DIVING

On any given day of the week, regardless of the weather, a group of daredevil divers can be found at the De Jongh Diving Pool in Bailey's Muckleneuk, working on mastering their graceful dives.

PHSG Diving offers opportunities to beginner and more advanced divers. Each year during the first term the advanced team participates in weekly competitions, many of which are held in Johannesburg. Our annual highlight is the Johannesburg Inter-High Diving Competition, where many talented girls put their skills to the test.

For the past few years, we have also participated in the National Girls' School's Aquatics Festival, where together with swimming and waterpolo participants, we travel to a different school across South Africa each year. This year the Festival is being hosted by Pietermaritzburg Girls.

Being part of the Girls High Diving Team guarantees moments of 'flying', terror, achievement and of course, unforgettable fun.
