PHSG has a highly active and skilled equestrian team. There are overall four qualifying shows are held annually. We ride in the SANEF School League North Tshwane Region, which enables team members to be graded by THS in their individual disciplines. Each girl must ride in a minimum of two shows in order to qualify for the Gauteng finals.

Each region then participates in the Gauteng finals from which a Gauteng team is chosen. It is these chosen girls who represent their province from which a national team is chosen at a later stage. Last year Ebony Ablett Johnstone, Natalie Marler and Carla Gerdes were chosen to ride for the Gauteng team at Nationals. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement.

23/24 February		First qualifier
29/30 March		Second qualifier
31 May/1 June		Third qualifier
12/13 July		Fourth qualifier
9/10 August		Gauteng Finals
16/17 February		Gauteng Schools Eventing*

*Eventing is a new discipline that has been added to the school league and is proving to be very popular among our riders.
