What are we? Basically we are a group of concerned individuals who are interested in human rights and our fellow human beings all over the world. We try to keep informed about violations of others' rights and we discuss issues related to human rights like the death penalty, violence and abuse, human trafficking, bullying at school, xenophobia, power outages and so on!

This year we will be focusing specifically on Palestine, Kenya, Darfur, Pakistan and Zimbabwe. We will also be watching "An Inconvenient Truth" this term and dealing with the issue of global warming. We hope to raise awareness and promote a personal sense of responsibility concerning "green issues". All are welcome to join us on Tuesday afternoons at 14:30 in Room 114.
