On 23 July Neha Singh and Emily Hawkes wrote the second round of the Science Olympiad at Sunnyside Primary School. Before the paper the students were informed that 3 learners with the highest scores will represent the district in the provincial competition of the Science Olympiad. The duration of the paper was thirty minutes. After writing the learners were asked to leave the hall while teachers marked and moderated. The results were announced shortly after.
From PHSG, Emily Hawkes has successfully earned a spot in the top three of the district competition. She will be writing with two other learners from two other high schools on 24 August 2019. Well done, Emily.
