To be or not to be is the question. The argument and supporting evidence for the argument is the answer. The senior and junior debating teams compete in various debating leagues as well as at the National All Girls’ Schools Festival. The debaters learn new skills such as how to properly structure an argument and find the flaws in someone else’s argument. The beginner debaters are moulded into true competitors throughout the year and go on to push the more experienced debaters to new heights.
The Model UN debaters focus on solving social issues. The teams represent various countries at the Model United Nations conferences. The MUN teams compete in the annual Environment Sustainability Project and submit research papers on specific topics relating to the environment, sustainable development, energy sources etc.
Our learners often win individual awards as well as team awards at the various MUN conferences.
